"This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matt 3:17)
God the Father is well pleased only in His Beloved Son. Apart from the Son every where is nothing but wrath, confusion and eternal destruction! If I want to please the Father, if I want to escape the eternal death then I must be found in His Beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ alone!
On that day, my good works, religious duties or own righteousness will avail me no help. I must be
found in Christ Jesus the eternal Son of God "And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; " (Phil 3:9,10)
